Sam Drucker's Resume

Bio:

Sam Drucker is a senior studying Mechanical Engineering at the University of Central Florida and the current President and Flag Football Captain of the Robotics Club at UCF. A former member of his high school's FIRST Robotics and Solar Car programs, Sam joined UCF's Robotics effort at the beginning of his sophomore year [Fall 2012 semester]. In his first year with the club, he designed and fabricated several components of the club's autonomous surface vehicle Gray Goose including the boat’s NERF mount and lightweight anodized aluminum frame. During the Fall 2013 semester, Sam was appointed Treasurer, managed club recruitment, and taught a weekly introductory Mechanical Robotics/SolidWorks class. He intends to spend his last year at UCF implementing a completely new mechanical design for the club’s autonomous ground vehicle. In addition to his interests in science, robotics, and engineering, Sam is an avid athlete and plays the trumpet and bongos recreationally.
