2011 Vehicle
For the 2012 Intelligent Ground Vehicle Competition, the Robotics Club at the University of Central Florida is returning with AUTOMATON. Notable for its stability as a platform and its performance in the previous IGVC, the Robotics Club at UCF looks to build on past accomplishments. This year we have made a number of modifications and additions to increase reliability even more and extend the capabilities of the robotic vehicle.

AUTOMATON is designed to compete in the 20th annual Intelligent Ground Vehicle Competition in Rochester, Michigan. In this competition, the vehicle must fully autonomously navigate an obstacle course, locating waypoints and remaining within lane lines. This year's competition has the largest course ever used for IGVC. For more information on IGVC, including offical rules and information, go here: www.igvc.org.
