Welcome to the Robotics Club at UCF Homepage. The mission of the Robotics Club is to bring together students with an interest in the field of robotics. Students will have the opportunity to either work on large established projects, small competition projects, or propose new projects. This club is a chance for students of all levels, from freshmen to graduate students, of all majors to learn about and get hands on experience working with robots.
We are concentrating on smaller hands on projects to design, create, and program autonomous robots. This includes automated machines, autopilots for vehicles, and RC vehicles. In the club, we will cover the basics of how to control motors, design vehicles in CAD, create electrical circuits, and interface to existing technology. The club is to be fun and informative with an opportunity to create robots. For those that are truly excited about robots, and willing to put forth the extra dedication for a year long project, I recommend our parent organization The Robotics Laboratory.
