Welcome to the temporary information page for the Autonomous Surface Vehicle Competition. The Florida Peninsula Chapter of the Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI) would like to help inspire more students in autonomous systems and promote the I-4 High Technology Corridor. The ASVC was created to address a missing piece of the AUVSI competition schedule that already includes aerial (UAVs), underwater (AUVs), and ground (UGVs) events.

    This competition is for Autonomous Surface Vehicles (ASVs) which include surface ships, airboats, hovercraft and amphibious watercraft. Competitor vehicles must touch the surface of the water at all times (no flying or submerging).
